Hanging laundry decreases
greenhouse gas emissions and saves
money. This clothesline is hooked around a swing set.
It is quick and easy to set up a
removable clothesline. Using hardware hooks or quick release knots you can loop
your line around trees or playground equipment. Hanging laundry can provide a
few relaxing moments in the sun. But if hanging your laundry seems too
burdensome, we have a couple of suggestions: If you have children, this is a
perfect children’s chore! If you need to minimize the time spent, hang only
bulky, slow drying items like jeans and towels. By hanging these items you can
reduce your dryer time, running the dryer only once for every two loads of wash.
You’ll save money on electricity and decrease greenhouse gas emissions. The
generation of electricity is the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in
the United States.
